Pizza Hut Vols

Branding or in these cases "Re-branding" can be a delicate item we will have to deal with as a designer at one time or another.  

These are two case that can help enrich our understanding of what to be prepared for as we grow into the future.

Country bacon, with no tomato, onion, lettuce, or mayo.
Beef as the meat.
Brioche bun.
I vote for fries as the side.

1.) in each case, they are changing their logos
2.) so we can see what they changed, how they did it, and why
3.) i like pizza huts, but the tennesee one is not too much different in my opinion

They are trying to be more modern.
2. Why are these important items for us to be aware of as design
students?
So we can make the best product and the best thing

I think it is alright but i tend to like old logos

Each Case is trying to change their logos and style.
2. Why are these important items for us to be aware of as design students?
We could learn how they change or get future jobs creating new logos.
3. What is your opinion of each rebrand?
I dont have a good opinion.

LOGO CHANGERS

2. Why are these important items for us to be aware of as design students?

Sometimes people don't like change but it's necessary to look hot and fresh.

3. What is your opinion of each rebrand?

I like em, they look more official. And pizza hut looks like a cool bar logo or something.

1. What is happening in each case? The old logo for the company/team is being changed.
2. Why are these important items for us to be aware of as design students? These are important because it shows that not everyone is going to like your work.
3. What is your opinion of each rebrand? I think the pizza hut one is better than the old, but the Tennessee one is kind of confusing. I dont think their should be certain teams called something and the others called differently.

In each case there wanting a change and making a change some people like it some don't.
2. Why are these important items for us to be aware of as design students? So we know what people are doing to there company's
3. What is your opinion of each rebrand? I don't like either one of them I don't think either one of them should of changed what they changed. I don't see a point in it.

1. What is happening in each case? In each case they are both changing their logo.
2. Why are these important items for us to be aware of as design students? these are important items for us to be aware of because it shows how often logos are changed, and how changing their logo they kind of get more popularity because its so talked about.
3. What is your opinion of each rebrand? Honestly, I don't really like Pizza Huts rebrand because it was so original before. I understand that the simpler logo is better but yeah.

1. What is happening in each case?
The old logos for pizza hut and lady vols are changing. Pizza hut is taking a new sleek look that will change the resturants feel entirley. UT is getting rid of the name lady vols completely except for the bbal team to unify the athletics program.
2. Why are these important items for us to be aware of as design students?
It is important to be aware of it because logos and designs need a change after they get old. A change is always better
3. What is your opinion of each rebrand?
I like pizza guts new logo, and i think that the change from lady vols to just volunteers makes sense and i think its fine i don't have a problem with it.

They are trying to be more modern and change the things up like the menu and also the store
2. Why are these important items for us to be aware of as design students?This is important to us to see whats more modern and also what gets peoples attention.
3. What is your opinion of each rebrand?
I think both are good to change the look of things and get more views and give it a new look.

Each company is trying to change their logo.

It shows how often change occurs
3. What is your opinion of each rebrand?
I don't like either rebrand. I like the old ones way better

1. They want a change in their company so they would change their logos to make it work with the modern world.
2. To see the difference in logos back then versus the modern logos we have today.
3. I see why companies would change their logos because they want a change in their company. Even if people didn't like their new logos the companies would raise more attention to the public causing the company to have an increased net worth.

2. Why are these important items for us to be aware of as design students? creating a new logo for something may not go over well with people
3. What is your opinion of each rebrand? i like the pizza hut logo and the VOL logo also

2. Because they show similarities in color between product and logo

3. I think the new ones are better and more simple than the old ones

Their logos are changing.

We can learn the latest trend in designing.

I think they look simpler and cleaner and I like it.

1. What is happening in each case?
Each case is deciding to change their previous logo.
2. Why are these important items for us to be aware of as design students? These are important because it allows us to see where the current design market is headed.

3. What is your opinion of each rebrand?
I like the way the new Pizza Hut logo looks, and up until now, I hadn't seen the logo for the Lady Vols before the switch, so I don't have an opinion.
